Since entering private practice in August of 2006, Ann N. Luu has focused exclusively on family, and she has appeared in all of the circuit court and juvenile and domestic relations district courts in northern Virginia. During her career, Ann has represented a variety of clients and handled a wide variety of legal issues, from complex equitable distribution matters, to challenging custody disputes, to protective orders. Ann has also successfully negotiated many settlements.

Before entering private practice, Ann completed a two-year clerkship with the Honorable Richard B. Potter, then Chief Judge, of the Prince William County Circuit Court. During her clerkship, Ann also assisted the Prince William County Bar Association in completely revising its "Domestic Relations Practice Guidelines" a publication designed to assist attorneys in navigating the court system.
